  • On our way to Khao Sok we found these amazing hot springs, far off the tourist path, surrounded by one of the most beautiful countrysides I have ever seen. Locals boiling their eggs for 20 Minutes in the 70 dagree hot springs for themselves and surrounding restaurants.

  • Hello Thailand. Hello Phuket - Khao Lak - Bang Muang.
The last week we were traveling up and down the Khao Lak Area.. one afternoon we spent at the harbor in Bang Muang, watching the fisherman and getting to know some locals.
The Thai people we got to know are all really friendly and open - everywhere you look people are smiling and always willing to help out.
Can’t wait to explore more of the country!

  • If you’re going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you’re going to San Francisco
You’re gonna meet some gentle people there

For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hair

Just a brief impression of a wonderful day in San Francisco. Walking up and down Haight Street, up Buena Vista Park and to “Hippie Hill” at Golden Gate Park.
Love the vibe of the city and the open minded and hearted people there!

    Coming back soon!

  • First stop of our February - March “contrast” travel: Solothurn.
A charming little baroque city in Switzerland with a special and romantic atmosphere. Somehow the number “eleven” seems to play a big role for the city, as there are for example 11 springs, with 11 beautiful fountains and 11 churches. Really open minded people living there that definitely know how to celebrate and to have a good time. During our stay the locals were starting a carnival, mask balls and parades to banish the Winter and welcome the Spring. The whole town is covered in konfetti and the locals take dressing up as serious as I have never seen it before.

  • Last weekend I went to Prague to take some cover shots for a serie of piano music books. For this shot I visited the atelier of Paul McNulty and his fortepianos.

  • So. Last time, Ryke and I decided to go on an adventure after each of us drank about one bottle of whine. We wanted to hitchhike through Berlin to just experience the city in a totally different way.

And this is exactly what happened! We got picked up by a very friendly guy who took us to his turkish café, where they always play cards for money.

Here are some impressions I got while staying at this place.
